What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design electrical systems for buildings, including lighting, receptacles, and critical electrical infrastructure
- Plan and execute engineering tasks within projects, both independently and as part of a team
- Lead the electrical design of complex projects and mentor entry-level engineers
- Develop drawing and specification documents for architects, contractors, and building owners
- Conduct short circuit, coordination, and arc flash calculations as part of project execution
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis on electrical building systems
- 5+ years of experience in designing electrical systems for high-performing commercial, industrial, or mission-critical/data center buildings
- Proficiency in software packages including AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, eTap, or Cyme
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to travel to project sites and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- EIT or Registered Professional Engineer (PE) certification, if applicable
- Experience with short circuit, coordination, and arc flash analysis
- Familiarity with the design of robust Medium and Low Voltage infrastructure
- Previous experience in mission critical/data center projects
- Involvement with international projects
