What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide development support and conceptual design services for electric power generation projects
- Perform technical evaluations of electric power generation facilities
- Assist in project economic and cost analysis, risk assessments, and contract development
- Conduct engineering design reviews and technical due diligence
- Support project development efforts with a focus on thermal power projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the electric power industry, specifically with medium voltage electrical systems
- Experience with detailed design of utility-scale thermal power projects including gas turbines and coal-fired generation
- Excellent technical communication and writing skills
- Familiarity with thermal power project development support and conceptual design
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in technical due diligence and owner’s engineering design reviews of thermal power projects
- General understanding of power station operations and performance reviews
- Knowledge of economic, cost analysis, and contract development
- Familiarity with international design codes and standards
