What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assign and outline work, advise on technical problems, and review work for accuracy and adequacy
- Review and prepare technical documents to ensure compliance with requirements
- Develop and coordinate work schedules to meet cost, quality, and time objectives
- Establish and maintain client contacts for technical information related to projects
- Analyze problems, organize investigations, and determine specific design criteria
What is Required (Qualifications):
- University degree in Electrical Engineering
- Over 10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering
- Expertise in electrical distribution systems and industrial controls, especially utility substations
- Knowledge in the design of medium and high voltage power distribution and transmission systems
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in the United States
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience preparing technical specifications for electrical equipment and evaluating proposals
- Knowledge of renewable energy facilities design, such as solar and wind farms
- Experience with HVDC projects and 3D design software
