What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assign and outline work, advise on technical problems, and review work for technical accuracy and adequacy
- Review and prepare technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with technical requirements
- Develop, approve, and coordinate work schedules to meet objectives of cost, quality, and time
- Establish and maintain client contacts to seek or provide technical information related to projects
- Analyze problems, organize investigations, and determine specific design criteria
What is Required (Qualifications):
- University degree in Electrical Engineering
- Over 10 years of working experience in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in electrical distribution systems and industrial controls, with a focus on utility substations
- Knowledge of medium and high voltage power distribution and transmission, including load flow and grounding studies
- Exceptional communication skills in client relations and project communications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in preparing technical specifications for electrical equipment and evaluating proposals
- Knowledge of design for renewable energy facilities such as solar and wind farms
- Experience with HVDC projects
- Proficiency in conducting projects using 3D design software
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in the United States
