What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Participate in a “concept-to-customer” design team to launch new low-power electronic products and enhance existing designs
- Apply extensive knowledge of electrical engineering principles to complete diverse assignments
- Design electronic circuitry using various communication protocols and ensure compliance with EMC and international standards
- Evaluate technologies for their suitability in product development and debug circuit designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive full-stack “internet of things” solutions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4-year BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering specialty
- 7+ years of experience in electronic product design and development, including circuit design and board layout
- Proficiency in low-power wireless data transfer technologies (BT, BTLE, Zigbee, ANT+, 6LoPAN)
- Strong knowledge of RF hardware design and experience with modular BLE, GPS, Wifi, and Cell technologies
- Expert in Altium Designer for schematic and PCB layout
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with embedded ARM microprocessor devices and related development kits
- Understanding of hardware/software components for data transfer from IoT devices to cloud infrastructure
- Knowledge of agile methodologies in product development
- Master’s degree or other advanced certifications
