What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage multidisciplinary infrastructure projects through concept, investigation, design, and construction phases
- Collaborate with and lead multidiscipline teams throughout the design process
- Prepare calculations, design reports, plans, specifications, and other project contract documents
- Communicate effectively with clients, business partners, subconsultants, and team members
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a positive company culture
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- 8+ years of design- and/or construction-oriented consulting engineering experience
- Professional Engineering license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire
- Project management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Structural, or related fields
- Familiarity with heavy civil construction means and methods
- Willingness and ability to perform field work and travel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a multi-person team
