- Operating System Administration: Perform advanced administration and troubleshooting of Windows and Linux environments.
- Provisioning & Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end provisioning process for on-premises enterprise systems.
- Virtualization Management: Oversee and maintain virtualization layers, specifically utilizing VMware and Linux-based KVM.
- Orchestration & Automation: Utilize open-source management and orchestration tools (e.g., SaltStack, Puppet, CloudStack, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Rancher, GitLab) to drive efficiency.
- Storage & Data Protection: Manage and troubleshoot enterprise storage (EMC, NetApp) and backup technologies (Netbackup, Veeam, Commvault).
- Network Collaboration: Apply understanding of switching, routing, and firewall concepts within a Datacenter environment to ensure seamless connectivity.
- 24/7 Support: Participate in an on-call or extended shifts rotation to provide high-level resolution for critical infrastructure issues.

Job Scope
The candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that supports enterprise systems end-to-end, fostering an environment of cross-training and shared ownership. This is a rewarding and challenging role for senior engineers who thrive in fast-paced environments where speed, agility, and innovation are prioritized. You will ensure that all enterprise services meet and exceed internal and external certification body standards, including ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a senior member of our Systems Engineering team, you will play a critical role in the architecture and stability of our global infrastructure:
Required Experience/Qualifications
We're looking for a talented and versatile Senior Engineer who is passionate about user support and productivity technology and is excited by the creative possibilities of modern Enterprise environment.
OS Expertise: Proven experience administrating both Windows and Linux systems, with deep expertise in at least one of these operating systems.
Virtualization: Hands-on experience with VMware and Linux virtualization (KVM).
Automation Tools: Demonstrated experience with orchestration and open-source tools such as SaltStack, Puppet, CloudStack, OpenStack, Kubernetes, or GitLab.
Storage & Backup: Proficiency with enterprise-grade storage (EMC/NetApp) and backup solutions (Veeam/Netbackup).
Networking: Strong conceptual knowledge of Datacenter networking, including firewalls, routing, and switching.
Project Experience: Proven history of end-to-end involvement in infrastructure projects.
Security & Compliance: Experience working within highly regulated environments like ISO 27001 or SOC 2.
Certifications: Relevant industry-recognized IT certifications are considered a plus.
Hours/Travel/Shift
Standard Office hours aligned to the Office location in Europe or USA. On-call rotation may be required.
