What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the preparation and submission of environmental permit applications for mining projects
- Collaborate with clients to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards
- Conduct environmental assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies
- Manage project timelines and deliverables to meet client needs and deadlines
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and stakeholders throughout the permitting process
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental permitting or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and permitting processes
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the mining sector or with mining-related environmental projects
- Advanced degree in a relevant field
- Familiarity with GIS software and environmental modeling tools
- Professional certification in environmental management or related areas
