We now have an extremely exciting new opportunity for a Senior European Scout to join the team, leading our coverage across the critical regions of Italy, Spain, and Portugal .
Within the role, y ou would work closely with our Head of Recruitment and Senior Manager of Scouting Operations to identify top-talent in the regions, whilst leading on the assessment of players of interest and providing reports to the management team that will aid in recruitment decisions .
This role is critical in achieving comprehensive coverage across the regions, it is essential that the postholder has expert knowledge of the leagues, and the players within, maintaining and updating this knowledge whilst within the role.
You will build and maintain positive and productive relationships , not only across the Everton Family but also externally, to ensure we are able to recruit the very best players.
Who we are looking for: Essentially, we are looking for a confident individual with excellent communication skills and has experience within t alent identification . They will have demonstrable experience within the elite footballing environment, within a Scouting role, and comprehensive understanding of the transfer market and associated regulations .
You will have a high level of report writing skills and computer literacy; with a proficiency in the use of appropriate software’s (e.g. Hudd, Sportscode ). You will be confident operating within a fast-paced environment, a notable drive towards uncovering footballing talent, and the ability to manage multiple demands at any one time. This role will provide opportunity to operate at the forefront of the talent identification process at the Club and support an exciting future for our football club.

The role is permanent and will involve local working; you will be expected to perform comprehensive travel within this post to ensure sufficient coverage of the designated regions . You will also be required to attend our Finch Farm training ground , in Liverpool (Halewood), as requested ; to participate in team meetings . The contracted weekly hours, within this post, are 40 hours per week.
