What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in the annual planning process and budget preparation, comparing budgets to actual financial statements
- Prepare Monthly Departmental Budget Variance Reports and perform regular analysis on various metrics
- Collect and analyze information for monthly and annual financial reporting, ensuring data integrity
- Conduct initial reviews of budget variance reports and communicate any discrepancies to management
- Report applicable data and analysis to various leadership teams as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduation from high school with at least 12 credit hours in accounting and ten years of supervisory experience, or equivalent educational background and experience
- Minimum of seven years of accounting supervisory experience with a two-year accounting degree
- Four years of accounting supervisory work with a four-year degree in accounting or business administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software, with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of applicable State and Federal laws and regulations impacting the organization

- Experience in healthcare financial analysis or accounting
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy
- Ability to lead discussions and present findings to large groups
- Experience with grants management and financial reporting in a healthcare setting
