What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead a team to prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, metrics, and forecasts
- Conduct advanced analysis of financial and operational data to provide leadership insights
- Utilize technology and best practices for continuous process improvement
- Mentor other Financial Analysts within the team
- Stay updated on industry trends and financial systems to enhance job functions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
- Minimum of four years of experience in a financial or related field
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of the institution
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience with cost accounting
- Familiarity with EPSi or similar cost accounting tools
- CPA and/or Master's Degree in Business or related field
- Experience in Health Systems and Academic Medicine
- Quick learner with excellent communication skills
