      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review clinical documentation to validate appropriate charge code builds and resolve charge suspense issues
      - Maintain the Charge Description Master (CDM) with timely updates driven by regulatory changes and department requests
      - Audit charge capture for inpatient, outpatient, clinic, ED, and ambulatory services
      - Support implementation of regulatory coding changes and ensure CDM compliance across systems
      - Coordinate with IT and clinical departments to ensure alignment of charging workflows

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience
      - 5+ years of experience in hospital chargemaster maintenance and medical coding
      - Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent credential required
      - Proficient in CPT, HCPCS, revenue codes, and Medicare billing regulations
      - Advanced proficiency in Epic, especially in EAP configuration and charge workflows

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Epic certification in Charging or Billing
      - Experience with Meditech and legacy systems
      - Background in Revenue Integrity, Health Information Management, or financial analysis
      - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across clinical, financial, and IT departments
      - Up-to-date knowledge of payer regulations and healthcare compliance standards
