What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Partner with cross-functional teams to advise on product roadmap and create innovative features with our APIs
- Rapidly prototype and implement new product features from ideation to production using modern web technologies
- Collaborate closely with early access developers to deliver scalable and efficient API features
- Champion developer experience and sustainable, scalable code practices
- Participate in on-call responsibilities to ensure product reliability and quality
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Availability for meetings during coordination hours (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with large-scale codebases and systems
- At least 3 years of experience in Python, Java, C++, or a similar programming language
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for learning and improving both personally and within the team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2+ years of experience in designing APIs or building UI products for external developers
- Passion for the employer's products and mission
- Enthusiasm for code quality and designing elegant systems
- Knowledge of the latest API trends, technologies, and best practices
