What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Influence engineering team strategy and product architecture
- Create technical specifications for upcoming features
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee development estimations
- Develop new features for the product and participate in code review processes
- Conduct technical interviews to assist in building a strong engineering team
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on Full Stack web development
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate thoughts and decisions
- Desire to contribute to the growth of the product and team
- Working knowledge of PHP, Laravel, Vue.JS, and MySQL or equivalent technologies
- Enterprise engineering experience preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- MVC architecture experience preferred
- Interest in a heavy code contribution role rather than an engineering management position
