What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and develop technical solutions that meet user needs in terms of functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability
- Oversee proactive maintenance of existing IaaS/SaaS and on-premise applications within the Digital Banking space
- Coordinate troubleshooting efforts for code defects, data errors, and configuration issues
- Drive departmental best practices and adhere to established development standards
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in software application development and maintenance OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in software application development and maintenance
- Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js
- Proficiency in designing and developing real-time integrations and optimizing database processing
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with security best practices such as OAuth2, JWT, and data encryption
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 6–10 years of software development experience with significant exposure to Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js
- Back-End Expertise in REST APIs, microservices architecture, and messaging queues (Kafka)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and hybrid mobile apps
- Familiarity with unit testing and TDD/BDD methodologies
