- First point of contact for business representatives and Local International Hires relocating into specific regions
- Support the Global Mobility Case Manager for international assignments into specific regions
- Act as a liaison between AkzoNobel and global mobility outsource vendors, review invoice specifications on correctness, and arrange timely payment.
- Maintain assignment data in local and global HRIS systems, and support with internal reporting and data analytics.
- Project work as designated; own initiatives are highly appreciated.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Law, Economics, Business Administration, or similar field required.
- Extensive experience and therefore proven track record, within an in-house Global Mobility team, where you can classify yourself as a Senior / Seasoned professional within your field.
- In-depth knowledge about international compliance for relocating employees, i.e. immigration, tax, social security, and understanding the impact of international treaties and regulations, is a must.
- Experience with vendor management and RFP processes is a plus.
- Analytic, detail-oriented, independent, and a team player.
- Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and planning skills required.

Join our dynamic Global Mobility Services team within the Rewards Center of Expertise as a Senior Global Mobility Officer! In this exciting role, you'll play a crucial part in managing all aspects of international relocations, including benefits, taxation, immigration, and relocation. Collaborating closely with recruitment, finance, shared services, and local country teams, you'll ensure top-notch service delivery to our valued relocating employees and the business. Be an integral part of our mission to provide exceptional global mobility support and help us take our services to the next level
Responsibilities
- advising line management and local HR managers on the relocation package and timelines, and the financial impact of such permanent relocations, and
- give guidance to GMS officers who support Local International Hires with daily operational actions, and review cost projections for relocation packages.- managing end-to-end coordination of these assignments including immigration, relocation, tax, social security, children’s education, and partner support,
- prepare cost projections, balance sheets and assignment letters for international assignments,
- conduct policy counseling for employees and their family on international assignment,
- instruct local payroll teams timely of changes in net pay and reimbursements.What do you bring?
