What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop compliant cost models and effective pricing strategies for proposals in collaboration with various departments
- Research and track competitor pricing and market trends to analyze profitability and growth impacts
- Ensure final cost proposals comply with governmental regulations and corporate policies
- Coordinate competitive analysis and research to support Price to Win (PTW) strategies
- Develop and brief PTW analysis for various competitive scenarios
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of relevant experience or a master's degree with 4-6 years of experience
- Previous experience in pricing and proposal writing within a government contracting environment
- Knowledge of all Contract Types (e.g., FFP, T&M, etc.) and familiarity with the Service Contract Act (SCA)
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel for developing and manipulating formulas
- Ability to obtain security clearance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced certifications such as Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)
- Experience with large multi-million dollar proposals
