      Team Overview :

      As the Senior Graphic Designer, you are a vital part of the Communications Team. In this role, you will report to the Director of Creative Services and are responsible for performing graphic design work and oversight consistent with ADF’s brand and quality standards. You will take on high-level design projects, lead creative direction, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions. Ultimately, you will help ensure that the design team promotes the ADF brand well by delivering high-quality pieces on tight deadlines.

      Key Responsibilities :

      • Project Management: Work closely with key stakeholders to create a wide variety of high-quality designs for both print and digital projects, including marketing and case campaigns, advocacy materials, event branding, and more; ensure design projects are completed on time and within budget
      • Eye for Design and Brand: Inspire fresh and modern design to tell the ADF story beautifully; ensure brand consistency throughout all creative projects
      • Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in ideation meetings, bringing a working knowledge of graphic design trends, skills, and industry standards to contribute to the overall design strategy; present and defend design concepts to stakeholders, addressing feedback and adjusting designs as necessary
      • Mentorship: Mentor junior and mid-level designers, manage complex projects and ensure that all designs align with the ministry’s brand identity and objectives

      Minimum Qualifications :

      • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience)
      • 7+ years of professional experience executing, leading, and managing graphic design projects
      • Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) certification
      • Must be able to travel as needed

      Preferred Qualifications :

      • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), print house terminology, paper stocks, materials, and formats available
      • Proficiency in design principles, branding, and strategic thinking with a strong portfolio
      • In-depth knowledge of typography, color, and print production
