What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide expert guidance on risk-related matters and support business initiatives within the area of specialization
- Analyze and report on operational loss performance and key risk indicators for the business
- Develop and operationalize risk management standards, policies, and processes
- Lead projects and initiatives that require complex problem-solving and stakeholder consultation
- Monitor compliance with internal and external requirements, ensuring alignment with business priorities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Undergraduate degree or technical professional certification
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in risk management
- Proficient knowledge of risk management policies, practices, and reporting
- Advanced skills in analytical software tools and data analysis methods
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to work collaboratively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Skills in Microsoft Office, particularly VBA with a concentration in Microsoft Access
- Experience in developing and implementing risk management strategies
- Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends
- Ability to lead and evaluate program/project activities effectively
