What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Data mine and analyze insurance payer claims and member/provider data from multiple sources
- Identify and analyze medical expense trends within various claims data
- Assist stakeholders with health plan cost-saving initiative ideation through data stewardship
- Create static and dynamic reports and analyses for a broad customer audience
- Lead multiple analytic projects, overseeing initiative creation to closure, including customer management and issue resolution
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Advanced skills in SQL, including writing queries and reporting
- Experience working with payer claims data and analyzing claims data
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience building dashboards in Tableau
- Experience building dashboards in Power BI
- Familiarity with Databricks
