      Summary

      The Senior HRIS Manager is directly responsible for the management of the HRIS organization. They will be responsible for the management and development of the HRIS team supporting the Firm’s HR systems, such as PeopleSoft HCM, Pilat Performance Management, WorkForce Time & Attendance, Senior EDays Leave Tracking, Hyland Onbase Personnel File Management, iCIMS Recruiting and Onboarding. Micron LawCruit, Cornerstone Campus, etc.

      The Senior HRIS Manager will be involved in Firmwide HR initiatives for the global HR organization, including development of HRIS training material, procedures, technology enhancements, and establish best practices around HRIS processes. The Senior HRIS Manager will ensure successful execution of HR Information Management projects. They will develop and oversee the execution of plans toward developing effective and efficient systems and will collaborate effectively with the IT Department, as appropriate, in doing so. They will also support the creation and adoption of process standards on a global basis. The Senior Manager will provide guidance and leadership for application configuration and must have prior experience managing, supporting, and configuring a variety of HR systems. The Senior HRIS Manager needs to be able to manage concurrent competing high priority projects and tasks.

      Duties and Responsibilities

      • Execution of functional strategy and the operational direction of the department
      • Assess the Firm’s HRIS capabilities and make recommendations for improvements in systems and related processes. Oversee and lead the implementation of HR Systems solutions. Work with the IT HR Portfolio team to implement and update downstream and upstream integrations to meet business needs
      • Hire, train, develop, mentor, and manage HRIS staff. Write annual performance reviews and hold staff accountable to expectations
      • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to deliver superior service in support of key Firm initiatives
      • Ownership of short to mid-term (1-3 years) execution of functional strategy and the operational direction of the Department
      • Work with HRIS and IT to research complex problems that often require extensive investigation and analysis
      • Requires ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches, and ability to communicate and influence executive leadership
      • Promote proactive approaches using the applicable HR systems to solve business needs/problems, while also enhancing the understanding and acceptance of the system capabilities
      • Leads and/or oversees the analysis/evaluation, innovative design, business requirement specifications, project plan development, and implementation of HR related technology, systems and process across the Firm
      • Monitors, assesses, and institutes continuous improvement initiatives to maintain sustainable HR technology, systems and processes critical to providing high quality and efficient support and service
      • Oversee HR report development and support
      • Understand and use qualitative/quantitative measurements and data collection design principles
      • Lead the implementation of the Firm’s HR data warehouse and analytics strategy and review the strategy regularly to ensure it aligns with the Firm’s evolving needs
      • Recommend new HRIS services, process and/or procedures to continual improvements in efficiency in all functions of the human resources department

      Education and/or Experience:

      Required:

      • Bachelor’s Degree
      • A minimum of 7 years of experience working with HR technologies and/or HR management tools
      • A minimum of 5 years of Human Resources managing and developing teams
      • Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
      • Demonstrated experience implementing and managing enterprise information systems including integration with both internal and external sources

      Preferred:

      • Exhibit both Human Resources knowledge and technical skills necessary to identify and translate business needs into technical solutions
      • Have a proven track record of motivation and developing effective HRIS teams
      • Advanced Power Point and Visio skills
