What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer and coordinate leave requests for FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, STD, LTD, and Military Leave, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for leave-related questions, providing clear communication to employees and managers
- Facilitate the ADA reasonable accommodation interactive process, ensuring accurate documentation and engagement with stakeholders
- Monitor case progress and proactively follow up to ensure timely resolution of leave and accommodation issues
- Provide training and guidance to HR partners and managers on leave and accommodation policies and best practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field with 2+ years of relevant experience; OR an Associate’s degree with 4+ years of experience; OR a High School diploma with 6+ years of experience
- In-depth knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation, and related federal and state leave laws
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple cases simultaneously
- Proficient in HRIS and case management systems, with strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint

- Experience specializing in leave administration and/or ADA accommodations
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Experience resolving complex issues using external resources and internal escalation
- Ability to apply critical thinking skills to complex issues
