What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead investigations and resolution of cybersecurity incidents, including malware and ransomware attacks
- Develop and implement incident response plans, including containment and recovery strategies
- Conduct forensic analysis of compromised systems and networks using advanced tools
- Prepare detailed incident reports in compliance with federal standards and NCUA guidelines
- Monitor threat intelligence feeds and provide recommendations to enhance security posture
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in incident response or cybersecurity operations
- Proven track record of managing complex security incidents in high-stakes environments
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret security clearance
- Strong understanding of federal cybersecurity frameworks and financial regulations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certifications such as GCIH, CISSP, or CFCE
- Experience supporting federal agencies or financial regulators, with knowledge of credit union operations
- Familiarity with incident investigation tools like Splunk, EnCase, and Wireshark
- Advanced knowledge of cloud security and endpoint detection/response solutions
