- Be the face of ICE Data Services for Index business by regularly engaging with clients & prospects;
- Work closely with the sales and relationship management teams to grow business and develop cross selling opportunities for other ICE services;
- Be a subject matter expert in all aspects of Index creation, Index use and process flow (i.e. the eco-system of index use);
- Contribute strongly to team sales quota
- Contribute to new product development and regional strategy for IDI Indices;
- Identify competitive threats that could cause potential risk to our index business;
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes that may benefit or damage our index business;
- Will need to travel across the region on a regular basis.
- University Degree in a Financial Discipline or equivalent experience;
- Solid experience in index specialist role within either an Index Provider, Investment Bank, Funds Management company or Market Data Vendor;
- Understand the use of indices in benchmarking, particularly in passive strategies, as well as the downstream use of constituent level data in ETF creation and processing;
- Solid technical understanding of all Index products, especially Fixed Income products
- Collaborating closely with multiple internal stakeholders;
- Working on multiple client engagements simultaneously;
- Strong team player with ability to work independently where required
- PC skills to include working knowledge of MS Windows Office, especially excel, word and PowerPoint.
Job Purpose
ICE Data Services (IDS), a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), presents, a unique opportunity for a full-time Index Solution Specialist to be responsible for establishing and expanding relationships with index clients & ETF issuers in the USA. This role involves working with end users and firms to use IDI offerings across product lines and expanding ICE’s index business across all client segments.
Index Solution Specialist, USA will drive adoption and growth of the IDI services. The role entails developing client demand for the ICE BofA-Merrill Index and ICE / NYSE Equity Index Offering across the USA. The Specialist will act in partnership with multiple, global and regional internal stakeholders (e.g. Sales and Relationship Management, Index Product, Commercial and Marketing) from ICE Data Services and externally with clients, prospects and partners to drive growth in the IDI Services

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
Base Salary Range for New York Candidates
The expected base salary for this role is between 160,000 - 200,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
