      Overview

      We are seeking a Information Systems Representative to join our dynamic team at our office in London. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing the organization's IT infrastructure. You will work with hardware, software, networks, and systems, ensuring they function seamlessly to support day-to-day operations.

      The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality IT support.


      Responsibilities

      1. Providing first- and second-line support for IT and PC helpdesk-related issues to Lutron’s global team members, both remote and in-person.
      2. Resolving support calls in the helpdesk system through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions to solve problems efficiently.
      3. Troubleshooting hardware issues such as laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and video conferencing equipment.
      4. Addressing software concerns, including troubleshooting Windows OS, Office 365, mobile devices, and video conferencing applications.
      5. Collaborating with the global PCHD & IT team to address unresolved or escalated issues.
      6. Performing installation, repair, and maintenance of computers, printers, peripherals, and network-related equipment.
      7. Assisting in the maintenance of IT assets, including installing, configuring, and decommissioning all IT equipment.
      8. Setting up new hardware and software while ensuring connectivity for networked workstations.
      9. Identifying and suggesting possible improvements in procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

      Qualifications

      1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent degree in the IT field
      2. Minimum, cumulative GPA of 2.1
      3. Previous experience in end-user PC helpdesk support.
      4. Solid knowledge of operating systems and networks.
      5. Strong understanding of PC hardware and basic networking.
      6. Excellent problem-solving skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
      7. Service-oriented mindset and exceptional attention to detail.
      8. Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
      9. Travel: up to 10%

      Required Skills:

      • Ability to work in a self-managed work team environment.
      • Fluent in written and verbal English. Additional European languages are a plus
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Excellent analytical skills
      • Sound judgment and decision making, problem solving, flexibility, assertiveness, resilience, and strong quality orientation
      • Hands-on professional.
      • Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment to accomplish goals while multitasking
      • Ability to manage multiple tasks, with a customer-focused sense of urgency
      • Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
