What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement the FEWS NET learning strategy using accepted adult learning pedagogy
- Manage and administer the Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS)
- Produce engaging content using authoring tools like Articulate Storyline and Rise360
- Collaborate with teams to leverage existing training content and produce new coursework
- Track platform metrics and integrate them into performance reporting
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in training and development, course planning, online learning media creation, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience, including management experience with technical requirements and subcontractor management
- 4-5 years of experience with audio/visual production applications and eLearning authoring tools
- Proven experience developing and delivering learning strategies focused on adult learning
- Proficiency with Google Workplace and excellent communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in international development and government contracting
- Experience developing curricula and course planning
- Familiarity with managing an LMS similar to Moodle
