      Req#: 80122
      Summary: Performs risk-based audits within the Financial, Operational, Compliance, Clinical, IT, and Construction areas to evaluate internal controls, operational effectiveness, adherence to policies and procedures, and regulatory compliance. Manages and directs other auditors assigned to projects. Clearly communicates audit results to management and oversees the development and completion of corrective action plans by department leadership to ensure identified risks are addressed in a timely and effective manner. Contributes to the development of the annual internal audit plan.
      Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, Business or a related field.
      Licensure/Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or related designation preferred.
      Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience, with healthcare experience a plus. Revenue Cycle and Data Analytics experience preferred. Should demonstrate: solid analytical skills with the ability to assess department and Hospital-wide impact; ability to develop clear and informative internal audit reports; ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups, orally and in writing; strong organizational skills and the ability to address multiple issues and coordinate multiple initiatives with appropriate prioritization; and readily adapt to change.
