Plan and perform internal audits, including designing and executing tests of financial and non-financial controls.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to verify the timely embedding of audit recommendations.
Draft insightful, objective reporting on audit engagements for leadership.
Maintain audit independence while acting as a provider of assurance and insight.
Utilise data analytics to enhance audit testing and value to the business.
Build trust-based relationships across business functions.
Support monthly and quarterly executive reporting for the IAR team.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Educated to degree level with a relevant professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIA or equivalent).
Strong internal audit experience, including post-qualification experience and use of audit testing methodologies.
Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with a practical, analytical mindset.
Able to balance independence with collaboration, working both autonomously and as part of a high-performing team.
Experience with data analytics and exposure to best practice business processes is desirable.
Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30%).

Job Title: Senior Internal Auditor
Location: London, Hybrid working with 2 days per week in the office
Due to continued growth, we’re hiring a Senior Internal Auditor to join our award-winning Internal Audit and Risk (IAR) team in London.
Named ‘Outstanding Team – Private Sector’ by the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors in 2024, the IAR team provides independent assurance that adds value and improves BSI’s global operations.
In this role, you’ll lead and support audits across financial and non-financial areas, applying data analytics and a risk-based approach to strengthen governance, risk, and control.
