What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Investigate complaints regarding alleged violations of the Nurse Practice Act
- Collect evidence, analyze records, and prepare detailed investigative reports
- Prepare cases for administrative review and present them at Board Meetings
- Testify in administrative hearings as an official witness
- Issue subpoenas and gather evidence to support investigations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Knowledge of nursing practice and the Nurse Practice Act
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to extract and analyze information from legal documents and records
- Basic computer operations skills, including working with Word and Google documents
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with investigations, substance abuse, social work, or legal testifying preferred
