What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with various state agencies to identify and analyze their IT application needs
- Lead and manage complex projects related to IT application development
- Prepare and deliver clear oral and written reports, presentations, and documentation
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with agency partners and team members
- Proactively resolve issues and seek effective solutions in a timely manner
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree with 21 semester (32 term) credits in relevant fields such as computer science or IT project management
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in Information Technology Infrastructure or as a Programmer/Analyst
- Experience in authoring, reviewing, and presenting technical documentation
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Must be able to work in the State of Michigan and submit proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in an Agile (Scrum) team environment
- Familiarity with AzureDevOps or comparable tools for application support
- Background in legislative compliance and public sector services
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving software application issues
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
