What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, implement, and maintain a policy management lifecycle process for security policies and procedures
- Continuously assess existing policies for relevancy and accuracy while managing risks associated with policy violations
- Analyze and report on IT security controls and risk exposure for management's monthly reporting
- Perform information security risk evaluations on reported IT issues and communicate impacts to stakeholders
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure security controls are aligned with best practices and effectively managed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a technology/information security-related field
- Five to seven (5-7) years of direct experience in an information security role utilizing risk-based methodology
- Expert knowledge of information security systems and procedures, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with FAIR methodology and strong understanding of ISO-27000 based security program functional areas
- Experience leading through influence and working cross-functionally with various teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Controls (CRISC) or equivalent
- Strong understanding of policy, compliance, and best practice security principles
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and coach other team members as necessary
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
