What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Initiate and manage relationships with landowners for securing long-term land agreements
- Assist in obtaining necessary documents for land development, including leases, purchases, and easements
- Mentor and train Land Agents, assisting with onboarding and providing necessary tools
- Implement land acquisition campaigns, including identifying landowners, negotiating contracts, and articulating value proposition
- Conduct stakeholder meetings, presentations, and maintain relationships throughout the acquisition and development process
- Provide data and updates to the Manager, Land Acquisition
- Maintain communication with landowners through project updates and meetings
- Adhere to corporate land acquisition policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- RPL or CPL through American Association of Professional Landmen preferred
- Local Notary license preferred or ability to obtain one
- Bachelor's degree, JD, or MBA in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of direct experience in land leasing/acquisition activities
- Past renewables experience preferred
- Proven sales, account acquisition, and account management experience
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and public speaking skills
- Expert contract drafter and negotiator
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a team player
- Ability to travel 50% or more of work time
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience as an Rx Technician or Customer Service Representative in a healthcare-related service
