- Work with HR leadership to drive change across the enterprise to improve the employee experience and enable a high performing culture.
- Support executive communications for the head of Human Resources and HR leadership team, including engagement routines, messages, talking points, organizational announcements, and executive positioning both internally and externally.
- Lead and set strategic direction for communication initiatives, defining objectives, key messaging, audiences, measures of success, and tactical communications plan; and communicate effectively with stakeholders on commitments, expectations, timelines, and deliverables.
- Transform complex programs / concepts into clear, concise and appealing content and communications, identifying storytelling opportunities to promote key HR priorities and support the employee and manager experience.
- Write and edit a variety of content and communications for key internal and external enterprise channels including email, the intranet, and the HR services and support website. Partner with other communications teammates to guide creative and content creation in support of HR priorities.
- Consult on campaigns across the Enterprise to ensure we create an integrated and authentic story to demonstrate our commitment to our employees and value proposition.
- Maintain a strong understanding of organizational communication needs including structure and audience to determine the appropriate channel, medium and distribution approach for communication. Know how to best reach target audiences for successful outcomes.
- Manage communications review and approval process to meet communication standards, risk control expectations and plan deadlines.
- This position will also be responsible for supporting internal communications needs – developing plans or executing on tactical plans – for other HR communication initiatives on an as needed basis.
- 7+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 7+ years of Corporate Communications and Employee Communications experience
- Experience in Human Resource communications
- Experience in change management/transformation communication strategies and plans
- Experience counseling internal clients and delivering internal communications
- Experience developing compelling content and leveraging multiple channels for creative storytelling
- Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, and enhances understanding at all levels
- Experience managing multiple projects and reporting on progress and results
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Communications Consultant, a critical member of the Human Resource (HR) Communications team. You will be responsible for strategic communications planning and counsel, building integrated communications plans including executive communications, internal communications, stakeholder engagement and external communications . This individual will be accountable for thinking ahead, engaging proactively and taking initiative while coordinating with key stakeholders on cross-functional projects that support HR objectives.
