      About this role:

      Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Data Management Analyst to support Regulatory reporting and Data Quality within Commercial Banking Operations.


      In this role, you will:

      • Strategically engage with Commercial Banking Operations (CBO) teams and management and serve as an expert advisor to them on all things Data.
      • Coordinate data testing by Regulators, Commercial Bank Data Testing, Audit, COSO, Independent Testing & Validation (ITV), Enterprise Data Management and others.
      • Partner with CBO, Commercial Bank and Applications Product teams to identify root causes of data defects / issues and resolve them in a timely manner. This includes coordinating system, process, control, QC/QA and procedural changes.
      • Lead research and remediation with CBO teams of regulatory / audit issues and inquiries along with Corrective Actions related to data.
      • Lead CBO teams in defining data quality metrics and reporting. Work with Business Controls Management to support data quality reporting and governance and drive improvements.
      • Ability to analyze large datasets and independently draw conclusions, identify recurring themes and patterns, resolve data issues
      • Support Governance and Oversight of all regulatory data / reports and processes produced/submitted within CBO.
      • Responsible for effective implementation of Data Risk & Controls framework in partnership with Commercial Bank, CBO Fulfillment / Servicing, Center of Quality, Procedures, Regulatory Reporting & Business Controls.
      • Collaborate with CFO and Credit Risk organizations to understand their data dependencies and proactively manage to meet their requirements.
      • Build and maintain strong business relationships with partners across Commercial Bank, CIB, Credit Risk, Controllers, Business Controls, Data Management and Insights, and Technology
      • Develop data strategy for CBO and integrate into ongoing process/technology improvement programs.
      • Provide guidance on Data Controls framework execution to process owners to be compliant with Data Management policy & procedures.
      • Be an advocate for CBO by closely monitoring and participating in the continued development of Enterprise Data management policies and tools


      Required Qualifications:

      • 7+ years of Data Management, Project Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.


      Desired Qualifications:

      • 7+ years of Data Management, Project Management in Financial Services industry
      • Wholesale Lending or Credit Risk experience
      • Regulatory Reporting experience (FRY14, 2052a)
      • Data element mapping, lineage, controls and metrics experience
      • Good understanding of risk management framework
      • Strong written / verbal communications and program and process management
      • Executive presence and ability to explain data management concepts to all levels
      • Ability to motivate and influence lead cross functional teams in matrixed environment
      • Ability to prioritize book of work in fast paced environment and continue to make incremental progress
      • Inquisitive and willingness and aptitude to learn (e.g., Wholesale Operations, FRY14 Regulatory Reporting)

      Pay Range

      $120,400.00 - $250,000.00
