      QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Senior Lead INFOSEC Engineer to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This position is contingent upon award of PD SAI SETA Task Order.

      Duties:

      • Serves as Functional Area Lead (FAL) to junior engineering and technical personnel and is considered an expert for providing technical guidance and information to meet requirements.
      • Leads the team in providing technical expertise in system security requirements, designs security architecture and develops a security design for program platforms.
      • Develops System Engineering Plans (SEP), and procedures in accordance with DoD, Army, industry and academia best practices.
      • Plans, coordinates, and integrates all systems engineering tasks adhering to a disciplined systems engineering process a throughout all acquisition phases of the assigned subsystem, system or system of systems. IAT level II certification required as applicable.

      Required Skills & Experience:

      • Familiarity with DoD INFOSEC systems, policies, and procedures preferred.
      • Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.

      Required Clearance:

      • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Top Secret w/SCI

      Qualifications:

      • Master’s degree required. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related scientific or technical discipline preferred.
      • Industry recognized security certification, preferred.
      • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience, at least five (5) must be specialized experience including system security analysis and implementation; design assurance or testing for INFOSEC products and systems; integration or testing for INFOSEC products and systems is required.
      • Four (4) additional years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education level (i.e., 4 ADDITIONAL years in lieu of a Master's/8 ADDITIONAL years if no degree.
      • A PhD in a related field may be substituted for an additional two (2) years of experience.

      Travel:

      Travel is not expected for this position.

      Work Environment:

      This position may be performed in a variety of locations, including but not limited to, commercial and/or government offices, test and integration labs, government facilities and depots, and test & evaluation and proving grounds.

      Physical Demands:

      Physical demands of this position include ability to:

      • Be independently mobile.
      • Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
      • Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.
      • Withstand exposure to noise from operating equipment.

      Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

      This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
