      About this role:

      Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Risk Analytics Consultant within the CIB CRO Governance & Risk Program Oversight team.

      The role is expected to engage with senior management across CIB and Corporate Risk to influence and challenge risk management activities and decision. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring risk-based programs to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.

      In this capacity, this role reviews and provides credible challenge to significant front line risk program execution, including, but not limited to, New Business Initiatives (NBI) to evaluate risk and control frameworks for new product offerings.

      This role will develop specific subject matter expertise for the Corporate & Investment Banking Group including understanding of business strategy, the customer base, products and services and other relevant industry issues, frameworks and emerging risks to provide effective IRM oversight and credible challenge.

      The role requires a sense of urgency, passion for results and personal accountability for achievement.

      In this role, you will:

      · Lead execution and credible challenge of NBI processes including identifying areas for various strategic enhancements to the program.

      · Designs and develops comprehensive IRM credible challenge strategies, methodologies and analyses; evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems and internal controls

      · Perform, coordinate, and document independent cross-functional risk assessments, aggregate risk assessments, evaluate effectiveness of internal controls, and review and credibly challenge frontline control enhancements.

      · Provides independent risk management credible challenge to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes and controls that mitigate risks and address regulatory requirements.

      · Provide a holistic CIB business-centric view to the NBI Programs across all risk types.

      Required Qualifications, US:

      · 7+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

      Desired Qualifications:

      · Experience evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, initiatives, products and internal controls; and identifying issues resulting from internal and/or external examinations

      · Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of management

      · Ability to quickly establish credibility to build and maintain effective working relationships

      · Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

      · Ability to implement a solution and communicate, in clear business terms, the benefits of the proposed risk management approach

      · Ability to track and monitor project progress, identify project and process gaps, recommend controls and communicate progress to business leaders

      · Ability to influence executive decision-making and successfully negotiate critical issue resolution related to program initiatives
