  Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

  We’re looking for an experienced Cadastral Surveyor (preferably Licensed although not essential) to join our high-performing team in Auckland, our largest and most dynamic market. This is more than just a technical role, it’s a leadership opportunity to help shape the direction and grow our team.

  You’ll be working alongside a national network of 50+ surveyors across New Zealand, contributing to some of the country’s most significant land and infrastructure development projects for both government and private clients.

  This role offers:

  What You’ll Be Doing (depending a bit on your strengths)

  • Working with the local and national team to scope, price and deliver projects
  • Researching cadastral boundaries, completing boundary calculations in 12D
  • Preparing and verifying CSD datasets in LandOnline
  • Mentoring and supporting junior staff
  • Collaborating with various other Beca staff on multi-disciplinary projects

  Your passion, design and problem-solving mindset will be matched with a desire to work on meaningful and significant projects across Auckland and Aotearoa. You are a cadastral surveyor with significant experience with Land Online and an understanding of the New Zealand Cadastral System. You will also have an inquiring mind, able to solve problems and think laterally; you can read and understand detailed survey plans. Self-motivated, you strive for technical excellence and exceed client expectations. You are passionate about developing and motivating others whilst ensuring that the team works collaboratively to meet project deliverables. You bring excellent communication skills that enable you to engage confidently with both clients and colleagues. This role also offers leadership opportunities, with training provided, to support your growth in guiding and influencing both clients and staff.
