Salary: £45,326 + depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:

· Implementing company Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) plans and activities as appropriate

· Maintaining and communicating a balanced order book plan for area of operation

· Enabling and progressing scheduled customer requirements through area of operation

· Actively supporting the resolution of problems affecting the ability of Operations to execute its plan

· Conducting regular start up meetings with team members

· Running regular meetings with internal and external supply chain stakeholders

· Reviewing risks and opportunities around inventory and enablement dependencies

· Implementing the principles of operational excellence within your area of operations (e.g. lean logistics, customer service excellence)

Your skills and experiences:

· Working experience of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (Infor LN/SAP or similar)

· An ability to engage and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation

· Ability to lead and motivate a small team of people either directly or indirectly

· An understanding of Production Control & Logistics concepts, systems and relevant business processes. This includes experience in a manufacturing/procurement/supply chain environment

· Be proficient in practical problem solving

· Be proficient in the use of IT, especially the MS Office suite (particularly proficient in the use of MS Excel)
