      The Senior Technical Program Manager is responsible for managing key strategic development programs within the engineering product portfolio, as well as aligning and deploying new product releases to multiple customers, managing internal communication and coordination between engineering product teams, professional services, support, sales, and product management and also, working closely with multiple project managers across the organization including the professional services team for the implementation of ABS products and solutions for customers. Senior Technical Program Manager contributes to building team practices from the ground up, and scaling program management across the engineering organization. Supports senior leadership in measuring the digital enterprise progress based on the digital programs and presenting this to executive-level stakeholders.

      What You Will Do:

      • Providing strategic direction and oversight for multiple complex software products, ensuring alignment with business and products goals and objectives
      • Developing and implementing program management best practices and standards, and ensuring adherence to industry standards
      • Facilitates the coordinated preparation of release planning for the release train. This includes:
      • Working with the Product development team to assist the Product Manager who prioritizes the features to be considered in the next program increment planning cycle.
      • Assisting the development team and Product Manager in refining features to be considered in the next program increment planning cycle to meet the Feature Definition of Ready.
      • Assists in communication and coordination with stakeholders and customers during feature definition and delivery.
      • Ensures effective communication and coordination for and during program increment planning.
      • Provide Release Train Transparency
      • Identifying and managing cross-platform dependencies and risks, and ensuring appropriate escalation and resolution
      • Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key internal and external customers, executives, partners, vendors, and stakeholders
      • Resolving complex stakeholder issues and conflicts, and managing stakeholder feedback and concerns at the highest level
      • Developing and implementing data-driven process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of SDLC across the organization.

      What You Will Need:

      Education and Experience

      • Overall 8+ years of experience in the IT field.
      • Of which 3 – 5 years experience as RTE, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile Project/Program Manager
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Program Management, Product Management, or a related field.
      • PMP or Agile certification is a plus.

      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

      • Ability to multitask and manage a portfolio of cross-functional programs and projects by work prioritization, planning, collaboration, and management.
      • Solid understanding of SAFe Agile Release Train Engineer Responsibilities
      • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results. Demonstrated leadership with the ability to effectively lead and work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities.
      • Strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to investigate the details and interpret the impact of key business drivers. Superior problem-solving and decision-making skills.
      • Excellent business judgment, including the ability to assess the reasonableness and likelihood of success of various business scenarios.
      • Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
      • Deep understanding of the product development process, the product lifecycle, and program management.
      • Proven experience in risk management, project planning, and resource management.
      • Excellent communication skills for a smooth collaboration with engineers and other teams.
      • Data-driven at the core; able to meaningfully leverage SDLC and Program data to drive improvements and identify bottlenecks.
      • Strong commitment to ethical business practices, in full accordance with ABS Operating Principles and Mission as well as corporate policies.
      • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to speak well in group and/or client-facing environments.
      • English language fluency to conduct detailed business and technical communication at a professional level.
      • Working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management System.

      Reporting Relationships:

      Reports directly to a manager or Director level position.
