What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage an Operations Manager and a team of analysts, prioritizing workloads and conducting performance appraisals
- Train and support analysts in SQL query development and complex data extraction processes
- Oversee data warehouse extractions and data provisioning, translating complex data requests into impactful datasets
- Design and implement data warehouse solutions, including views, stored procedures, and code blocks
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve data collection, quality, and accessibility
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Applied Biostatistics, Public Health, Systems Improvement, Information Science, Research, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and optimizing SQL queries and data warehouse environments, including 2 years with clinical healthcare data
- Experience leading initiatives to enhance workflows and improve operational efficiency
- Ability to supervise teams and provide mentorship to ensure alignment with data standards
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree
- Experience working in clinical research
- Experience supervising staff or project teams
