- Representing Clinical Supply Chain both internally with cross-functional colleagues and externally with CMO / CRO partner organizations.
- Driving clinical supply activities for both on-going and new clinical trials, including demand forecasting, trial monitoring & resupply planning, label design, packaging vendor management activities, IRT set-up and distribution activities.
- Managing label development and production planning / operations with established CMO vendors.
- Partnering and building relationships with Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) for effective utilization of drug supply materials.
- Working collaboratively with Clinical Operations, Quality Assurance, CMC and Regulatory Affairs to efficiently deliver clinical supplies as needed while ensuring compliance to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Supporting both Program and Protocol level leadership across all functional areas and levels of the organization.
- Developing risk mitigation plans to proactively identify any potential issues that may impact drug supply.
- Providing leadership in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to improve lead-times, accelerate speed to customer, and reduce supply chain risks.
- This position requires up to 10% domestic travel. Telecommuting available anywhere in the United States. Annual salary between $151,882 and $185,270.
- Requires at least a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, Biology, Bioscience, Chemical Engineering, or a related field plus 2 years of clinical supply experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, Biology, Bioscience, Chemical Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate clinical supply experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Must possess 2 years of experience with Master’s or 5 years of experience with Bachelor’s with each of the following: CMOs and CROs, Investigational New Drug (IND) applications and New Drug Applications (NDAs), Investigator Sponsored Trials (ISTs), Expanded Access Programs (EAP) and Single Subject IND / Named Patient requests, and clinical label design & execution, including implementing SOPs and approving GXP documents.

The Senior Manager, Clinical Supply Chain will be responsible for end-to-end drug supply management activities related to forecasting, planning, label development, packaging & labeling operations, and IMP distribution for clinical trials globally.
