      The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:

      What You Will Do:

      Corporate Strategy & Development (CS&D) is responsible for shaping the future strategic direction of the company in addition to identifying and vetting potential M&A targets for the company. CS&D reports directly to RTX’s President & CEO and the team serves as advisors to RTX leadership on the highest value issues and opportunities facing the company.

      This position will be responsible for supporting a wide range of strategy projects. The candidate must be a highly analytical, structured thinker and must have the ability to take initiative, set priorities, take ownership of assigned projects/tasks and independently drive for results. The role requires the ability to:

      • Construct analytical models in support of various strategy analyses

      • Support portfolio analysis, which involves assessing capabilities and financial metrics against market opportunities and competitors

      • Establish productive working relationships with the strategy groups and finance functions within the businesses who might contribute to key Corporate Strategy projects

      • Support the preparation of senior-level briefings, which involves summarizing and communicating insights at the right level from detailed analyses

      • Work on multiple projects while providing clear thinking and hands-on guidance to cross-functional team members in a collaborative work environment

      Qualifications You Must Have

      • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience

      • Creativity and strong oral and written communication skills

      • Proven analytical skills

      • Strong problem solving skills (prioritization, critical thinking, hypothesis creation, etc.). Ability to think pragmatically – not just theoretically – and drive execution of concepts

      • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

      • Outstanding multi-tasking and teamwork capabilities

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required

      • Strong ability/experience in developing relationships; able to develop credibility and earn respect with individuals at all organizational levels.

      • Ability to quickly identify, understand and manage organizational impacts of business strategy and process change.

      • Preferably some aerospace and defense domain knowledge

      • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

      • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

      • Active Top Secret / SCI

      This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program.       Minimum Program Qualifications

      To qualify for the RTX Re-Empower Program, candidates should:

      • Be on a career break of one or more year at time of application

      • Have prior experience in functional area of interest

      • Have interest in returning in either a full-time or part-time position

      The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

      Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

      This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
