      Senior Manager: Field Development UK

      Job Summary

      The Senior Manager, Field Development sits within the EMEA Segment Marketing team, reporting to the Director of Segment Marketing; EMEA.

      Segment Marketing is regionally mapped and globally aligned within the CRO organization. 5 Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) support the EMEA region and enable the company’s pursuit activation strategy across both Field Sales (Direct) and Channel/Partner (Indirect) Routes to Market.

      This specific role focuses on the UK, the largest EMEA (FLAP) market in terms of annual revenue contribution ($15M+) and quota bearing heads (QBH’s). It will be the primary interface for the UK based Field Sales & Channel Teams.

      Responsibilities

      Individually

      • Direct and develop pursuit planning activities that support prospective and existing customer GTM motions on a priority set of accounts aligned with UK Sales Stakeholders

      • Interact with and enable Field Account Owners and Partner Sales Managers on Account focused activities

      • Deliver data driven transformation recommendations within customer facing meetings and Digital Strategy Briefings

      • Understand, articulate and position Equinix value propositions to relevant end-users/markets

      • Continuously communicate and validate our insights and strategy publicly with Customers, Events/Panels, AR & PR.

      • Support Corporate, Product, & Partner Marketing activities with Segment & SME perspectives.

      • Grow knowledge of global transformation trends that will support the uptake of any client solution

      • Collaborate & knowledge share with regional FD counterparts.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required

      • Proven years of Direct Sales/Partner Sales/Business Development experience, ideally with a Digital Transformation bias

      • Proven years experience associated with Cloud, SaaS & Information Technology Industries

      • Proven years of experience in pre-sales, consulting, sales or a solution/industry marketing function

      • Understanding of digital transformation needs across industry verticals will be an added advantage
