Evaluate and investigate reports of potential global trade law violations and internal procedure breaches through in-depth interviews and thorough document/system reviews.
Manage an active caseload with precision, meeting both internal and government deadlines using RTX’s cutting-edge matter-management tool.
Partner with the global trade team and business units to uncover root causes of violations and drive impactful corrective actions.
Deliver compelling updates to strategic business unit and central global trade leadership on the progress of ongoing investigations.
Assist in the preparation and drafting of disclosures to government agencies, ensuring transparency and compliance.
Document and close matters that do not warrant further investigation, streamlining the process and maintaining efficiency.
Conduct comprehensive internal audits and assessments to identify gaps and enhance the strength of our global trade program.
Address internal and government data requests with accuracy and speed, ensuring all needs are met.
Embrace travel opportunities (15% domestic and international) to support investigations and collaborate globally.
Expert Investigation: Evaluate and investigate global trade violations through detailed reviews and interviews while managing caseloads efficiently.
Collaborative Solutions: Work with teams to identify issues and implement corrective actions, emphasizing teamwork and effective communication.
Precise Reporting: Draft disclosures, document case closures, and handle data requests with accuracy, ensuring clear communication and compliance.
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
Experience with global trade laws and regulations (EAR/ITAR etc.).
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
Experience in global trade investigations.
Experience drafting disclosures to government agencies.
Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience.
Ability to collaborate cross functionally and identify potential trends or issues.
Experience with root cause corrective actions

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
