      We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our Global Transfer Pricing Policy and Strategy Team within Group Tax, the team has a wide global remit including:

      • Setting AstraZeneca’s global transfer pricing policies and applying them to AstraZeneca’s global business;

      • Engagement with Tax Authorities on audits, APAs and MAPs;

      • Keeping up to date with developments in the international tax environment and considering the implications for the AstraZeneca business;

      • Managing transfer pricing governance and compliance including transfer pricing local files, the Master file and intercompany agreements.

      The role is to support senior members of the team by providing specialist advice and guidance to the business to manage the risks associated with transfer pricing. You will support business relationships and provide analysis to inform business decision-making. This role is perfect for someone who is keen to get stuck into a wide range of interesting work, build on their experiences and continue to develop as an inhouse transfer pricing professional for one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies.


      Typical responsibilities will include:

      • Prepare quality financial analysis and insightful commentaries to develop recommendations and solutions in relation to AstraZeneca’s transfer pricing policies

      • Manage dispute prevention strategies including preparation of APA s and MAP s and discussing them with tax authorities

      • Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance and internal processes and procedures in relation to transfer pricing

      • Under the direction of senior members of the team, produce relevant analysis to support Specialist Finance recommendations to the business

      • Support management of specific day to day risks and exposures and provide input into financial strategies and inter-company transactions across the global organisation

      • Significantly contribute towards business led projects

      • Interact with stakeholders from across the business.

      Essential skills and experience:

      • Qualified Professional (ACA, ACCA, CTA)

      • Strong technical accounting with some knowledge of tax preferred

      • Analytical experience, managing information and presenting appropriate recommendations

      • Experience of working within a large organisation

      • Confident using excel and other tools/systems

      • Some previous experience of working in transfer pricing is desirable
