      Job Summary: Basic purpose or primary function of the job. The Senior Manager of Curriculum and Social programming is responsible for overseeing and facilitating SAIL Jr., J-Time, and curriculum-based programming for the Jonathan Sinay Building.

      SAIL Jr. (Social program for young adults 18-25)

      Handle inquiry phone calls relating to the SAIL Jr. program

      Perform initial intake with potential participants and their families to determine appropriateness for the SAIL Jr. program

      Plan and coordinate monthly SAIL Jr. activities, in conjunction with volunteers/facilitators

      Coordinate/produce monthly SAIL Jr. calendar mailings, with assistance from administrative staff

      Assist with marketing the SAIL Jr. program (including website and Facebook pages)

      Schedule volunteers/facilitators for SAIL Jr. events

      Perform training/orientation for all new SAIL Jr. volunteers/facilitators

      Facilitate SAIL Jr. activities

      Supervise Facilitators and volunteers, when needed

      Coordinate the collection of yearly registration fees and event fees in cooperation with Disability Services Administrative staff

      Handle issues and concerns from SAIL Jr. participants and their families

      Represent SAIL JRr. in the community, as needed

      Perform other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Senior Director of Disability Services for the success of the program


      J-Time (After-school respite)

      Develop and implement a social and recreational curriculum tailored to children with disabilities under the age of 21, utilizing all areas of the Jonathan Sinay Building and the Weinberg Commons campus

      Conduct intake meetings and assessments for prospective program participants, ensuring eligibility and appropriate placement

      Create and distribute a monthly program calendar

      Monitor and manage participant attendance, schedules, and engagement across program offerings.

      Maintain ongoing communication with families, schools, case managers, and contracted vendors to ensure continuity of care and support

      Meet weekly with the Director of Disability Services

      Review and manage the J-Time program budget on a quarterly basis, ensuring program sustainability and compliance with Medicaid funding guidelines

      Serve as a facilitator during program hours, as needed, modeling appropriate interaction and engagement with participants

      Ensure staff submit program documentation in a timely and accurate manner

      Provide onboarding and on-site training for J-Time Facilitators

      Coordinate daily transportation logistics for participants, ensuring safe and timely arrivals and pick-ups

      Oversee ADP for all J-Time facilitators.

      Ensure compliance with all state regulatory requirements, including safety protocols, staffing ratios, claims submission and documentation standards.

      Support crisis intervention and behavior management in alignment with each participant’s needs

      Lead regular team meetings to provide updates, address challenges, and foster a collaborative environment.


      Jonathan Sinay Building Curriculums

      Design and maintain multi-tiered, life skills-focused curricula for each functional space within the Jonathan Sinay Building, including but not limited to the salon, kitchen, café, market, and recreation areas

      Collaborate with educators, therapists, and school partners to adapt curriculum for diverse learning needs and program durations, ensuring accessibility and developmental appropriateness across different age groups

      Create themed “Main Street Town” experiential learning guides to simulate real-world activities in a structured, supportive environment

      Develop packaged curriculum modules for visiting school groups and community partners, including clear learning objectives, activity guides, and support tools for staff and instructors

      Establish outcome measurement tools to track participant progress and engagement during structured group visits or field trips

      Collaborate with community partners and internal staff to pilot, evaluate, and improve curriculum content based on feedback and best practices

      Design and oversee curriculum-based activity plans for on-site birthday parties and special events, ensuring they are inclusive, engaging, and aligned with the values of the community center

      Maintain an up-to-date resource library of materials, visuals, and tools needed to support structured instruction across all spaces

      Train internal staff and visiting group leaders on effective use of the curriculum and space setup

      Coordinate scheduling and logistical planning for visiting groups utilizing curriculum-based experiences
