Summary
Position leads the Product Development department within SRP's Customer Programs organization. Responsible for developing and operating a comprehensive portfolio of customer programs designed to achieve SRP's 2035 Sustainability Goals for Energy Efficiency (EE), Demand Response (DR), Transportation Electrification (TE), and Electric Technology (E-Tech).
What You'll Do
• Lead a team of managers, product managers, and engineers to execute departmental strategy, oversee portfolio and program performance, and work with internal and external stakeholders. Leadership activities include setting expectations and objectives, monitoring and appraising performance, conducting training, and implementing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to understand SRP's future system needs to develop and integrate effective demand side solutions that support the system's affordability, reliability, and sustainability metrics, while meeting diverse customer needs.
• Oversee strategy development and integrated planning efforts to ensure alignment with SRP's Corporate and 2035 Sustainability Goals.
• Manage a multi-million-dollar budget and portfolio of programs to successfully deliver the annual and long-term performance of SRP's portfolio of Energy Efficiency, Demand Response, Transportation Electrification, and Electric Technology programs.
• Monitor program activities and expenses to successfully track, forecast and manage the program portfolio expenses to align with established budgets.
• Provide program/portfolio status updates to management, and present to internal and external audiences as needed.
• Collaborate with the Measurement & Evaluation team to implement continuous improvement processes to enhance program effectiveness and customer value.
• Manage and plan resource needs of the business unit including internal staff, external consultants, and third-party program implementers.
• Engage and contract with multiple third-party program implementation partners to execute program plans and successfully achieve annual portfolio targets.
• Support SRP public processes and external stakeholder meetings by presenting program information, annual updates, and supporting the evolution of SRP's 2035 Sustainability Goals.
• Represent SRP's customer programs on external leadership councils and technical working groups.
• Establish and build working relationships with program implementation partners, industry trade organizations, trade allies, other utilities, and outside agencies.
• Track advancements in all aspects of customer program technology and load management solutions and serve as a technical advisor to internal and external stakeholders and customers.
• Advise on customer research, marketing plans, outreach and other SRP work processes.
What It Takes To Succeed
Experience
Minimum of 10 years cumulative and progressive professional experience
Education
Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.Hybrid Workplace
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
