      POSITION SUMMARY:

      The Senior Marketer role offers a dynamic opportunity to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives for NMDP. You will serve as the lead team member on a growing B2B business line called Pathways to Transplant, driving impactful marketing lead gen programs that cultivate deeper relationships with our hematology/oncology partners and elevating awareness for our critical services in bone marrow transplant (BMT) referral. This is a remote position (US). #LI-Remote

      ACCOUNTABILITIES:

      Primary Functions

      • Drive B2B marketing initiatives that drive product/service adoption (e.g., via lead gen/lead nurture strategies) and directly contribute to achieving the organization’s objectives.
      • Provide strategic direction and oversight for aspects of marketing campaign execution, including results analysis and campaign optimization.
      • Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, most critically in the hematology/oncology referral space.
      • Deliver transformational thinking to how core audiences engage with NMDP and act as a ROI pacesetter for our business development initiatives.
      • Work cross-functionally on non-marketing initiatives that have a cascading impact on how our audiences perceive us at large (e.g., with IT, sales, field staff, or otherwise).
      • Participate in—and act as an NMDP SME within—industry groups, forums, or conferences, as needed.

      Responsibilities

      • Develop and implement data-driven, innovative marketing approaches for segmented B2B clients, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Market Research, and Business Partners to gather insights and secure buy-in from senior leadership.
      • Generate annual marketing plans, including goal setting, strategic planning, and outlining timelines, in collaboration with key stakeholders.
      • Recommend/initiate aspects of marketing campaign execution, including:
        • Content creation (e.g., website copy, blog posts, social media content)
        • Channel management (e.g., paid advertising, email marketing, social media campaigns)
        • Performance measurement and reporting
        • Collaboration with internal stakeholders across various departments (Clinical Operations, Research, IT, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of marketing strategies with broader organizational goals.
        • Management of relationships with external agencies and partner organizations.
      • Manage budgets for assigned business units and initiatives.
      • Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment and providing feedback to optimize team performance.

      REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

      Knowledge of:

      • Product marketing best practices, including the flow of organizational strategies into Go-To-Market plans
      • Modern integrated marketing practices and techniques, including how to leverage key channels to achieve results (e.g., paid, earned, owned)
      • Digital marketing expertise, including fluency in SEM/SEO, social media, web, email, PR/media, and the like
      • Lead gen/lead nurture, including the facilitation of these actions through a customer relationship management (CRM) platform experience – Salesforce and Pardot preferred
      • Project management principles, advanced oral and written communication skills, and informal influencing skills, since this role does not formally lead any other team members
      • Writing strategic briefs for marketing programs and presenting strategy decks to leadership and teams at all levels of an organization
      • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office software like PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

      Ability to:

      • Take market research and turn it into marketing actions
      • Informally lead down and across through team building/mentoring—while also leading up, providing constructive feedback, and presenting to Executive and Senior Leadership on key business decision and direction-setting
      • Leverage best practices, processes and procedures with an understanding of organizational impact and creating an experience for NMDP partners that improves our Customer Engagement Index score year-over-year
      • Present to—and receive feedback from—the C suite, executive leadership, and senior leadership
      • Learn NMDP’s key constituents, our affiliated audiences, and the bone marrow BMT industry at large

      Education and/or Experience:

      • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
      • 7+ years of experience in a marketing role with experience leading cross-functional project teams
      • 5+ years of experience executing lead generation, sales, or business development principles within a marketing plan

      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)

      • Master’s degree in Marketing or related field
      • Experience in medical/healthcare/scientific marketing
