Salary range - The budgeted salary range for this role is set at £33,800 - £47,000 (dependant on experience) - or will follow the Partnership Secondment pay policy (for internals)
Contract type - This position is a Secondment/Fixed Term contract until the end of November 2024
Working pattern/flexible working - We know flexible working is important to you, and it is important to us too. The Partnership has adopted a blended working approach meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The Brand Marketing team aim for around 2 days a week in the office to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings but again, are flexible on this.
Location - This role is based at our London Head Office campus with opportunities to also visit media and creative agency partners. Please note, any cost incurred as a result of travel to these bases will be the responsibility of the successful candidate.
Please note, The normal place of work for this role is Victoria, London pending the relocation of the London office to Pimlico during the summer of 2024 after which the normal place of work will become Pimlico, London.
Support the planning and delivery of end to end marketing and advertising campaigns.
Ensure briefs are rooted in customer insight and outcomes, to ensure effective marketing campaigns are delivered across all of the 360° marketing mix and customer touch points.
Build relationships with internal channel specialists, in-house content and design teams, commercial counterparts and external agencies.
Support the forecasting and tracking of marketing expenditure against budget.
Effective management of financial processes. Responsible for processing, monitoring & reporting against requisitions, purchase orders & invoices including amending PO amounts & finally closing POs upon reconciliation. Provide financial reports on a regular basis in advance of period end to the team.
Proactively support the team to deliver efficient ways of working, to ensure that processes are clear, efficient and appropriately analysed to land creative and compelling customer experiences across our channels. Seeking out best practice from other teams and optimises existing processes accordingly.
Review customer insight and competitor advertising activity and share with the team for inspiration. Compile weekly & seasonal competitor advertising reviews and keep up to date with the latest trends and market activity.
Campaign management and marketing experience.
Evidence of customer orientation, planning and prioritisation;
Experience working with creative teams (internal or external), brief writing and stakeholder management
Evidence of analytical thinking
Evidence of clear and effective presentation skills.
Marketing experience in a high profile multi-channel consumer brand.
Experience working on through the line campaigns including media advertising.
Commercial awareness
Marketing/Business degree or equivalent
Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma (not essential)

About the role:
As a Senior Marketing Executive you will support the development and delivery of end to end brand campaign activity across all marketing and customer touchpoints. This includes all categories and services John Lewis operate in.
You’ll write campaign briefs, and work closely with channel owners and creative teams to build and deliver brilliant marketing campaigns. You'll be a highly organised and a proactive individual with a high degree of collaboration and empathy, providing administrative support to delivery of the overall marketing plan. You'll be confident with accounting processes and best practice administration as you'll be accountable for processing, monitoring & reporting against requisitions, purchase orders & invoices and the preparation of monthly and ad hoc financial reports for the teams.
