- Act as a true player-coach, balancing strategy with direct execution.
- Own social media strategy end to end, including content calendars, posting, engagement, and performance reporting.
- Spend 50%+ of initial ramp time executing within social channels to stabilize and scale impact.
- Build and deliver monthly digital performance reports using GA4, HubSpot, and related tools.
- Provide hands-on backup support for the email marketing function to eliminate single-point-of-failure risk.
- Manage and optimize the external digital agency, reducing micromanagement and improving output.
- Launch and manage in-house paid social campaigns (Meta and LinkedIn).
- Lead and develop two direct reports, transitioning to ~25% people management post ramp-up.
- Continuously identify gaps, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities across digital channels.
- 1–2 years of leading people in a marketing environment.
- 3-5 years of strong hands-on background in social media and digital marketing execution.
- Experience working in scrappy or resource-lean environments (education, associations, nonprofits, or similar).
- Proficiency with HubSpot or comparable CRM and GA4.
- Comfort operating at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Ability to work East Coast hours to support early global calls.
- Bonus: HubSpot certification, Monday.com experience, paid social execution.

Senior Marketing Manager (Player-Coach, Digital & Social)
Location: East Coast preferred (Central acceptable)
Work Setup: Remote – East Coast hours
Rate: 55-60hr. (right to hire)
Conversion Salary: $110,000–$130,000, commensurate with experience
Candidates must be living in the EST or CST time zone to be considered.
Must have the following:
Hands-on social media leadership, digital strategy execution, people management experience, email marketing backup capability, and strong analytics/reporting ownership.
